That's great Iso- When opportunity knocks, you have to answer the door, or it will pass you by.

Don't know much about oriental rugs, but here's an interesting story on one- My brother-in-law, who was a confirmed bachelor at the age of 40, got married last yr. He lives in Dayton, BTW. An old roommate of his, who is in the Air Force in Turkey sent him a lovely turkish rug for a wedding present (about 10'x12'). He had no idea what to do with it, and had just gotten new carpet which didn't match.

The wife and I decided to talk him out of it, since the carpet in our lower level was pretty worn and ugly, and we thought it would look good in the office/rec room. We gave him $10 for it I think. Now I know it's worth way more than that, and he did too, but it would be interesting to find out exactly what it's worth. We may have to take it off the floor if it's too much. LOL
