If that's your belief, don't go those places.

Nobody is forced to work for Ashcroft. Nobody, as far as I know, is forced to attend the meetings. Do you have evidence that attendance at them is a condition of employment, and that staffers who are invited and refuse to attend are fired? That would clearly be wrong. But I have seen no evidence that he has done that.

I am happy to look at any evidence of wrongdoing. But I don't consider holding prayer or religious study sessions in your office wrong, and I don't consider inviting others to join you as wrong.

It's unhealthy to walk around barefoot because it is unnatural if your feet have been constricted by shoes for several years. To a savage it would be unnatural and unhealthy to walk around with shoes on. That does not make him immoral.
