it is THE main thing supporting the dollar right now imo...the theory will be confirmed or otherwise once Euro notes and coins have been circulating for a while. one must realize that this 'mattress money', comprising both illicit monies from dudes like the Russian mafia, and the money generated in the informal economy within Europe (which is varying in size between 10%-25% of GDP depending on the country) represents huge amounts all in all...of course no-one knows how much exactly.
