what kind of technical reading do you have on MSFT

Last I heard, the chart watchers on this thread were predicting a most awesome "breakout" once the stock inched over about 71. It didn't happen. I'll never understand why people try to make predictions based on the squiggles anyway, rather than upon market trends and relative valuations.
