Re: Btw, Ben Wa... not that I like, or advocate, this term "oreo" for black wanting to act "white".. But it begs the question of what whites, who like to act "black" are called. As a Brussels dweller I'm not familiar with that kind of ethnic niceties.... So, what do Yanks mean by "acting white"? And where do you draw the limit? I mean, what's the sociological benchmark that shows us when an Negro's no longer "acting black" but switches on "acting white"? As a side question: could the issue be extended to other minorities as well? I mean a Jew "acting Gentile", or the other way around? Thanks in advance, Gus.
