Let's see who they improve it for before we make a judgment. My bet is on them improving profits for the oil and energy companies.

It's easy to give a good speech.....the hard part is in executing a plan that will benefit most Americans.

Last week Reliant Energy charged Ca 1900 dollars for a megawatt that cost 34 dollars last year at this time. The LA Times has articles you can reference if you want to check out the facts.

Bush made several references to "the good people of Ca." yet he has refused to talk to both our Senators in bipartisan effort to resolve the current energy problem.

Words are cheap.........it's action that counts so I'll wait and see the specifics and the action.

What I am afraid of is that the citizens of this country are going to be scared into paying the bills for the gas and energy companies as they explore and develop new sources of fossil fuels. I am certain that the citizens of this country won't be sharing in the profits. The socialism here is in paying the costs. It's yet another creative way to use Americans as the "cash cow" for the wealthiest among us.

The liberal creed:

Energy shortages created by irresponsible liberals is "price gouging".

Spending increases below what is dreamed about are "cuts".

Racism can only be practiced by whites.

All offences and crimes are OK if engaged in by a liberal president.
