You're entitled to your opinion about Clinton balancing environmental issues...his record speaks for itself IMHO. Regarding agriculture, plants do a remarkable job of filtering wastes...they've only been doing that with the natural waste products of animals for a few Billion years since God created them.

Regarding the election, it almost would have been worth it to see Al Gore telling all the Californians they simply needed to conserve and get rid of their automobiles <grin>.
