That's true, but I don't think you can take the politics out of Dylan any more than you could the anti-establishment Lenny Bruce. Interesting that its the conservatives that are anti-establishment now, and Como and his ilk are rebels.

Good music endures, regardless of the passing fancies of the day. I agree, conservatives shouldn't live in the past. I won't argue that Dylan and the Dead didn't have cultural impact, but I would suggest that Miles Davis and Merle Haggard are artistically more important.
