Whatever happened to the laissez-faire government the Republicans claim to prefer? Does it only apply when the people are being screwed, and not when business is? It doesn't apply when you inherit a mess created by benign neglect. Would you prefer not to have any long-term policy and react only to short-term public opinion? I think we already tried that the past few years. This is fun but the market has closed and it's time to "move on" as W would say.
