Crossbows are cool to hunt with.....and just goof around with.

I never have shot a crossbow. They're illegal to hunt with in Illinois unless you have a handicap.

I made a bow when I was 18. Fiberglass and maple in the limbs and for the handle I sandwiched cherry between walnut. 55 pound pull recurve.
