IA - I knew that would get you going LOL, truth of the matter is that the big energy companies are as much to blame as anyone - and it wasn't in their interests (or intrests as W says) to build more refineries etc and you can't blame them for looking out for #1, that's the American (merican) way isn't it?

Isn't it interesting that when Nixon got into office that we had an oil shortage . Something smells. The oil industry is going to get what they want, they were wanting this new energy package for years.
