i've seen the Sandsprings article...and yes, they may be right. we SHOULD get a correction here. but i see many people selling...and if you look at pm stock rallies in the past, you will notice that they sometimes just keep going. it's in the nature of the beast...the bear phases are long-winded, grinding affairs, and the bull phases are moon-shot like. that said, we ARE approaching fibo resistance, a cycle turn, and a new moon (the XAU/HUI correlation with the moon phases is phenomenal). so a correction wouldn't surprise me...as i've mentioned previously, there have even been instances in the past where the initial rally off the lows was given back in its entirety before things got going for good. but this rally doesn't feel like that will happen. it has a 'hook' - the hook is the relative underperformance of the metals themselves (gold/silver). that is what makes up the 'wall of worry' here...nobody really believes the metals can go far, or that the stocks can keep going without the metals helping out. and yet, it is this very thing that has probably kept many people on the sidelines. anyway, that is of course not a short term trading comment...a correction in the short term is very likely for the reasons stated above. if it is a nascent bull market, it will give people a myriad reasons for not staying aboard...corrections are part of the game.
