John,

I have been saying for awhile now that I believed the DOW would lead the NAZ, but the NAZ would eventually catch up, but not make new highs as the DOW will. IMO the old economy companies will have to do well and turn around for the high tech to turn around. It's the old economy companies that are the driving force of this country and the world and they are the buyers of the high tech. The Wal*Marts of the world will be the big buyers of tech as to the Amazon's IMO, and with the new economy companies going out of business and or cutting back it will take a little while longer to work off all the inventory that has been built up in the high tech area do to the new economy bubble last year! With the rate cuts and tax cuts coming I believe the economy is and will turn around which will help the Wal*Marts of the world first and ten spread into the high tech area which is why I believe the DOW will lead the NAZ this time around.
