Hey, you were the one complaining that Ashcroft was making cultural changes, then you say it's impossible to make cultural changes! But, sadly, I agree with you about the bureaucracy. It is no longer accountantable to the elected leaders. As an unelected fourth branch of government it has far more influence on the life of the average American than the other three branches combined. Short of a new American Revolution, I think our freedoms and liberty will be increasingly eroded. Even today we accept governnment intrusions that the Minutemen would have mustered immediately to fight.
