If you disagree -- respond to the points presented -- otherwise you are just blowing smoke: Do you think people will accept the possibility of not being served? Do you think those who control the wires over which the energy flows are not capable of shutting other would-be suppliers out? Do you think companies through competition across limited facilities, when given free reign, will always supply reliable service is no-one is watching? Do you know what happened last summer -- the entities that were accused of "dragging" the system? Would they have done that had there been penalties for doing so? What specific knowledge do you have that indicates to you that competition will work or that regulation has failed? What metric or standard are you applying?
