Belgium-Chukcis!! I was reading in the "Ghosts of Cape Cape Sabine" by Leonard F. Guttridge that Adolphus Greely meet a few at Cape Sabine in January 1884. He took them for Inuits but Dr.Octave Pavy, the French expedition's doctor noticed that they were speaking a strange French dialect and understood who they were! They had some of Mr. Goldners Patent can food that they wanted to trade with Greely's party (left over from earlier Franklin's expedtion.) for guns and gunpowder! I wonder if Gus would have understood them?
