gdr, the "internet" dumbed down a lot of folks, imho. berts isn't an exception. but, alas, maybe i will defer to their wisdom down the road.

Who knows. For sure they have not "bet the farm" on the internet as many firms have done. Mostly they moved the book of the month clubs on-line and some CD music and DVDs.

ps - i bet $100 million is waaaaaaaaaaaay less than they paid for napster.

Could be. I still can't really say why they bought it. By the way, did they buy all of it or just a portion?
