I accept that they are becoming more of a commodity, but if the number of suppliers continues to shrink, some price leverage will reappear. Plus I'm sure some new hot computing product will appear in the future that will jump start margins again. Just don't know what that product will be. As was pointed out to me, DVD's helped jump start consumer electronics. It can be done in the computing world too. Cycles, dude -g-

Don't forget the "local cloner". Finally, the general public appears to be waking up to the fact that he supplies a similar box at a better price ....... and he is there to service the darned thing when it crashes (which happens a great deal - PCs are a high maintenance item). These boys are also picking up market share.
