PCCW may set up call centre in Guangzhou by yr end if trial successful 2001-05-18 Terms and Conditions Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd said it may set up a call centre in Guangzhou by the end of the year if its ongoing trial in Guangzhou turns out to be successful. Company spokeswoman Joan Wagner said the call centre in China will employ 250 employees to support a directory hotline and internet services. PCCW's current call centre staff in Hong Kong will be redeployed in other operations.
