While I did lighten up on gold funds today, I have taken a significant position in emerging market funds. These will benefit enormously if the dollar goes down for the count and to date have moved up much less than the gold funds. Better risk/reward here the way I see it.

BTW, during the last big gold bull in 1993, emerging market funds did almost as well as as the gold funds. These two asset classes tend to move together.
