I got to respectfully disagree.

I noted a great quote from Graham to AS recently: "In the short term the market is a voting machine, but in the long term it is a weighing machine." I would add that I have been taught by BK Bill that hope is not an option.

Let's consider the company that you suggested: NTAP. I've got last year's earnings at .21 and the current year estimated at .28. I show the PE at 110. Now, I have no doubt that NTAP is a great company with great products in a great industry. However, I would ask: how does a projected growth rate of 25% justify a PE of 110.

From my view, NTAP is a great example of the entire problem. We are still looking at where the stock prices were, and thinking that it's a bargain. Compared to what?
