09:29 ET Robbie on Networkers : Hearing from sources at Robertson Stephens that the firm believes June will be dicey for Juniper (JNPR), but would add to position in the mid-40s; they also note Cisco (CSCO) has become more competitive at the high end of the market (there has been quite a bit of speculation that Cisco is regaining share in the core router market). On Extreme (EXTR), Robbie says the qtr is out of the woods and revenue run rate is running above firm's estimate.

I think you need to read between the lines of what they said. That's apparently what Wall Street is doing judging by the way this stock has been trading for the past month.

The subtle negativity coming from JNPR these last couple of weeks reminds me of the way John Chambers slowly braced investors of forthcoming negative news. Let's see how this pans out.

Nasdaq continues to shrug off negative news so things only seem flat to slightly down for now.
