Well, China is leader in manufacturing beats Mexico hands down in cost. All the customer support and call centers are moving to India. Software professionals are not in demand any more in USA as we have surplus created with the death of dot bombs and fake accounting. So, blue collar & software professional are no longer in demand in US. Only service providers like doctors, attorneys can mint money as they cannot be imported or outsourced to India or China. Shortage of Nurses can easily be solved like H1 program for software professionals, India can easily provide the talent. I know construction people are making money but wait for the guest program from Mexico to kick in and watch the wages dropping in construction.

World economy is going to create gyrations not known to the mankind. As I stated above it can be outsourced to a different country. Based on this, I think we may not see inflation but deflation which is a strong possibility as we will have fewer and fewer high paying jobs. Ofcourse, burger flippers and pizza delivery cannot be outsourced that's a relief. <G>. IMHO.

My best to Bears & Bulls.
