I fault WIND for not seeing this coming.>>>

In my opinion, WIND management has done an outstanding job of focusing the company on increasing market share. They are guided by Fiddler's vision of creating a new kind of company, a full service embedded software company. They are performing very well on their plan.

The market slowdown was predictable only to a very few bears who were laughed at a year ago. It is still the subject of intense debate among investors. Because WIND is a supplier to other businesses, WIND has a somewhat delayed reaction to a slowdown. They are not the first to know when consumers slow down or when a channel is full. It may be that WIND will enjoy an early lead into a recovery. I'm not sure about that. But, you can't fault management for a recession. They are rightfully focusing on their business. Hopefully, they won't sail us off a cliff. But, their job is to manage the company, and remain optimistic about the economy.
