I just dislike the heavy- handed reaction that some people have..... If one assumes that anyone's objections to this are based on hostility to religion, one misses the point entirely. FWIW, when I did the study of the organization with the "cult," I never once asked anyone I interviewed to identify his religion or that of anyone else or to identify members of the group at issue nor did I divulge that information, when it was volunteered, in my report. I focused entirely on the management anomalies that existed there. The religious beliefs of public employees are not appropriate for official attention and are totally irrelevant in the workplace except to the extent that employees seek accommodation. Karen
