How Janice affects these people the way she does is beyond me. She need only show up on a thread, and BINGO, all hell breaks loose.

Since 7/29/98, when Janice's first scam project, MTEI, had its trading halted by the SEC, 36 companies (inclusive) have had trading suspensions. Of those, Janice has posted on the RB or SI threads of 13 of them prior to the halt. I'm not saying she was the reason they got nailed (although it many cases she did play a major role), I'm just reinforcing the "Shell-effect" you seem to be implying. Given that AZNT, IFTP, MDMN, HITT, PCBM, and TVCP have yet to be halted, I'd think that list is bound to grow. ;^)

Nice post!

To change the subject slightly...

...in one way, and one way only, Pugs reminds me of my mother. Each year when she went to the shore on vacation she'd read A Book. For the next eleven months, everything that happened in her life could in some way be related to that one book.

Pugs has recently made the discovery that organized crime has penetrated (or should I say "permeated"?) the pennystock market. Of course anyone with an interest in these things knew that years ago, but Pugs is trying to take credit just as he's trying to take credit for busting Mike Sylver. He's read A Book: The Laundrymen. And so absolutely everything he encounters, in his "real" life or on the boards, must perforce be related to organized crime and money laundering.

Evidently it never occurs to him for a moment that he really doesn't know anything at all about this stuff; only what he read in ONE BOOK. It's obvious from his pitiful attempts at "investigation" that he has no gift for research, but no matter how many times he's disastrously wrong he comes back for more.

As he attacks and harasses his targets, armed with incorrect information and a willingess to lie and invent, he whines that he's a "victim". Amusingly, he predicates his victimhood on his status as "Shareholder". Seems that it's okay for "shareholders" to libel and stalk people, but non-shareholders are prohibited from doing so. This is an extremely weird argument, but I've no doubt he'll remain convinced of its merit until one day a judge laughs in his face.

More hilarity: he's recently taken on some recruits. They seem to be for the most part TVCP people who know nothing whatsoever about AZNT or any of the players. And so they make ludicrous mistakes. Of course Pugs isn't supposed ever to talk about Zwebner with anyone, and so their presence, and his collaboration with them, could cause him problems.

Even funnier, his two main supporters, Jacalyn Deaner and Jay Marvin, are at opposite ends of the spectum politically. Deaner saw "communists" under every bed; Marvin goes on about "imperialism", Paul Allen, and the Burmese drug trade. When will these two start fighting with each other?

I'm sure it'll get even better before it's over. Just think: ALL of this has happened simply because Pugs once again refused to listen to the people who tried to warn him against a bad investment.

And I understand that some of the players there are probably not having their elevator go to the top floor.

Remember the loathsome lanoir? Or LA NOIR as I usually called him...

Jay Marvin calls his prose and poetry Punk Noir, and has published in New York Quarterly, The Pittsburgh Quarterly and Black Ice. He is the author of Punk Blood published last year by FC2. He also hosts a daily talk show in Denver on KHOW and doesn't have a brown shirt in his closet.

Punk Blood is a roller coaster ride & blood bath that never slows down, not even for twists and turns. Somewhere there is a graveyard and between the crypts of Jean Genet, Claude Simon & Edward Bunker, you'll find a tombstone marking a grave waiting for Marvin. The tombstone reads, "next".
