I don't know what to tell you. ENN has run a lot in a few weeks, but so have all of the hospitality REITs. MHX was at 20 3 weeks ago, now 23. It looks like hospitality and health care are taking the lead. I like to draw trendlines connecting the lows when things look good like this. Until the trendlines are broken, I like to let it run. If a REIT is up 10% 3 weeks in a row, I'd probably put a sell stop 3% below it's current level and move it up 1-2% each week. This is what I'd do for ENN. EQR is still cheap and a great long term hold. I like CLP in that they are in areas that aren't glamorous, so competition isn't fierce. SFI should do well until interest rates turn up. BNP is the only one on the list that I don't really like.
Sorry to be so vague, but it's hard to tell which way REITs are going. I suspect it's up on a slow steady path.
