I don't think he'll ever be persuaded that he needs help. Not that kind of help, at least. Many, perhaps most, of his problems stem from a refusal ever to admit that he was wrong.

Consider this example:

When Pugs testified at the Mann hearings, he brought along some five hundred pages of photocopied messages from the SI board. Josh Landish, who at that time represented AZNT, attempted to enter this material into evidence. After some discussion, the judge said that he'd be willing to let them "lodge" this material with the Court, but that he would not accept it into evidence.

We posted the transcript testimony dozens of times. Yet Pugs still insists that his wad of garbage was accepted as evidence.

He can NEVER be wrong. If he's wrong about one thing, then he might be wrong about other things. Maybe about everything. And that won't do. Notice that he only succeeded in rejecting Mike Sylver by saying--quite erroneously--that he and Kuhns had been the ones who exposed the Crusher.

Though Pugs himself wouldn't like to think it, and would in fact reject the suggestion, he's bound by an extremely rigid mentality. This is, I'd guess, typical of people who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Everything in his purview MUST be made to fit into his scheme of things.

So, to return to your question, no, I don't think he'll get any meaningful help. He really enjoys being a victim; it goes along with his view of himself as a Suffering Artist.
