My point was that his may 2001 call, if correct, in fundamental terms would be predicting a shallow recovery and a return of stagflation--a mini japan situation. But if the perception of a recovery is there now, a bubble could occur again causing those prices that seem ridiculously high to us now. If we look back thats what happened in 1999-2000 and its reverse in 2000-early 2001. So why not strike 3.
I hope we get a more robust economy and a beginning of a real bull market. I am fearful of the former but i will take advantage and sell this time. mike
