"any thoughts on the COT numbers? " from George Slezak.. Also of note is the big increase in net commercial hedging in GOLD and SILVER in the current week's report. This report would have reflected the hedging as the result of the 20 ton Gold auction by England this past week. The breakout up move in GOLD today was in spite of the auction and hedging and suggests a very powerful GOLD market is beginning. The GOLD move could continue over the coming year.
