Yep. Noticed that. Glad to see that Bush was telling the truth about it.

Now we have six years of Congressional hearings ahead to try (and fail) to figure out how the rumors got started in the first place.

Of course, this statement: "The condition of the real property was consistent with what we would expect to encounter when tenants vacate office space after an extended occupancy," could cover a lot of sins.

But it's nice to get one laid to rest. Sort of.

Truth is rarely as interesting as fiction. I doubt this story will have legs. It's much more fun to tar and feather someone for something they didn't do, than to report boring stuff like "No one did anything unusual." Where is the fun in that?
