Your understanding of Vietnam must have come from the Big Three TV networks. They have revised a lot of history over the years, but Vietnam is their favorite hobby. As long as Davis, Boxer, and Feinstein insist on "making victims" of Californians by claiming "price gauging" with no evidence whatsoever, it is "their" energy crisis. And if you don't want to discuss a subject, not posting is a good option...

Thirdeye, If I remember correctly Nixon tried to end the war quickly with Linebacker II. They carpet bombed North Vietnam with B-52's and attack Hanoi. Something Kennedy and Johnson were against. This brought N. Vietnam to the negotiating table. Until then it was basically a stale mate and the American public doesn't like casualties. It's been awhile but I don't think I'm that far off

The enemy expanded the war into Cambodia. The American media knew. The "Peace" movement knew. They made an active attempt to revise history. They are, in short, liars as well as traitors. Why mention it today? Because while Vietnem is ancient history, the same lying applies to today's enviro-whacko movement, where the same traitors have taken up residence. Instead of just treason, now its a passionate desire to see humanity itself destroyed. The same fools in this country tag along with them out of ignorance-including yourself.
