"I wonder which indiscretion he's referring to...".

At this point a motorcycle cop approached the accident scene.

The sylver-haired man was about to explain what happened when the cop motioned for him to be silent.

"Anything you say can and will be used against you!" proclaimed the officer.

"It's easy to see what happened here." he continued. Pressing the tips of his fingers to his forehead, the cop visualized the scene in his head. "I have a vision. I'll try some remote viewing to see where the two other people disappeared to." he said. And with that he concentrated very hard. The blood vessels in his neck began to bulge. His face grew quite red.

Muffy stared at the sylver-haired man's vehicle. "An older model Jag..." she silently mused.

... several unmentionable phrases on a family oriented thread ... then ... POOF! The image disappeared, just as suddenly as the motorcycle cop as he rode away laughing wildly.

... "huh? Oh, dear. Oh, my. What have I gotten myself into now?", wondered Muffy. "A baseball bat? What the heck would that be doing in gutter materials? And how did that guy even remotely affect my vision?"

Then, she realized ... "Hey! How did you know my name was Muffy? Who are you, anyway, buster! Have you been doing some Due Diligence on me already? I'll have you know I wouldn't have anything to do with whatever company it is that sold those stold and cancelled certs!"

"Are you somehow connected with organized crime?", she asked, starkly, in a thin, reedy voice.
