When Frezza went down for the next-to-last time he was claiming moral victory in his long struggle to expose CDMA as a fraud. But who needs CDMA to be 20-40 times as spectrally efficient as AMPS. Isn't 10 times good enough, and better under any scenario than TDMA? And maybe when the cells "breathe" people at the edge get dropped off, but have you TDMA users had enough of getting dropped during a handoff (i.e., "at the edge" of a cell)?

His antepenultimate column, if I recall it correctly, claimed that CDMA 3G claims were hogwash.

Tell it to the catfish.
