John,

Devaluation of the Yuan. What are the likely effects for US equity?

I can imagine the Nikkei under pressure, and could see some commodoties sell-off, but I am having a hard time trying to guage knock-on effects for US Equity.

Only idea is that it would be a slap round the head for the QCOM bulls.

I suppose it takes out the USD purchasing power of the 1BN chinese, but this is no real big shakes in terms of world GDP.

Any Ideas?
