From Raging Bull:

After the death spiral financings and the handling of the warrants, the thing that worried me the most about NEOT was the complete absence of any recognition of them in the Alzheimer's scientific research community. You can point to this conference and that presentation but in the overwhelming number of other instances of independent articles or reviews of the research on Alzheimer's ... NEOT is not even mentioned.

Here is a case in point:
This is a link to a new very comprehensive report, "2000, Progress Report on Alzheimer's Disease, Taking the Next Step" put out by
National Institute on Aging,
National Institutes of Health
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Public Health Service
National Institutes of Health
National Institute on Aging

alzheimers.org

They mention a great number of other approaches, organizations, and researchers but there is not a word about Neotrofin, or Neotherapeutics that I could find. They even describe other trials they have done at UCI and not the SCAN trials for NEOT.

Maybe someone else can find something in there and point it out if I missed it. Maybe someone can reconcile how it is that nobody else in the field seems to have any interest in what Neotherapeutics considers a breakthrough drug.
