A follow up note on last month's call writing activity: net contribution of call writing activity for the month was 3.4%. That was calculated by taking the net premiums received from all covered calls written or buy/writes put in place after 4/23 and closed out as of this weekend and dividing that number by the net worth of all investments (stocks, cash, mutual funds) at the start of the period on 4/23. And before dUF declares victory I will acknowledge that, yes, that is dUF's method of calculating returns for call writing. (g) It was just too complicated to try and figure the return in the aggregate.
