may not agree with everything there (certainly like some of the principles espoused ), but it does need "radical" revision.

Why not abolish corporate FICA expenses too , add the difference to payroll taxes. UFB

Contrary to your apparent belief, eliminating the corporate income tax is likely the third best economic plan the government could come up with, after slashing government spending and replacing the personal income tax completely with a retail sales tax.

The key point is that the legal fictions that are corporations do not pay taxes, people do. The actual incidence of the corporate income tax is on consumers in higher prices, on employees in lower wages and on owners and investors in lower rates of return. In addition, the presence of the corporate income tax also reduces the growth rate of the economy, even if the taxes lost from the corporate income tax were 100% replaced by the higher income tax receipts on the employees' higher wages and the higher taxes on the higher investment returns. Also, taxing corporate income distorts the economy by penalizing successful companies and propping up unsuccessful ones as they continue to waste resources of all kinds.
