One throws an allotted amount of material spins it repetitiously and dutifully upon the wheel , and it responds over and over again taking the simple shape of plate, cup, bowl etc. And that is all you need to know .<g> You are summarily excluded and excommunicated from "his" truth and his " righteous " imaginary tribe .... and you are "pittied" for daring to question what is obvious to many as a collection of myths by a myriad of questionably enlightened unknown authors. The truth is simply the "Truth" for him, because it is written... a truth that comes from men of one ancient tribe with it's many conflicting cults, lore, and laws and much distorted that was legend even in those times . **It must be very frustrating for him , that you will not behave in the same simple ways as does his clay upon the wheel..and if there is of something so transcendant of revelation he would convey then let him do so , in language as simple as his clay <g> Or is it always about endless condemnation and vehemence?~ An old potter at his wheel Clay and dirt mould and deal My inner eye would reveal My father’s dust bears his seal. This Universal wheel, this merry-go-round In our imagination we have found The sun a flame, in the Cosmic lantern bound We are mere ghosts, revolving, the flame surround. Alike for those who for TO-DAY prepare, And those that after a TO-MORROW stare, A Muezzin from the Tower of Darkness cries "Fools! your Reward is neither Here nor There." Or From dirt and dust come into view Back into dust for review And the cycles continue; Though same for all, seen by few. Some always seek the rational mind Some will appeal to faith that’s blind If you turn within, you’ll surely find Both paths will lead further behind. and some are in endless pursuit while some seek the forbidden fruit I fear the voice that is mute Cry out, fool "the path ain’t fruit nor root!"
