>> Full steam ahead, Captain...full steam ahead. Yeah. I was reading about EDS contract to put 360,000 networked computers for the Navy. (and they are going full steam ahead) let me tell you that. 11,300 (DOLLARS -CHING CHING) per computer. ( 4.1 BILLION CONTRACT- hello! ) Granted they are throwing in a few High End Routers. But come on. Give me a break. for a 1 gig (GateWay with Win2000Professional - that's what the Airforce uses) CPU with 256 RAM....(Even with a removable Hard Drive to create your own secret workspace.) and some blue CAD5. COME ON!!! ... 11,300 dollars... Who are we Kidding!!!
