knight8z: Palm's miss was horrendous and their earnings report dismal that no one in their right mind would want to hold that POS. However, note the NASDAQ opened down nearly 30 points and finished in the green; the swing in the Dow was even more impressive. The investors shrugged poor earnings reports and conference calls from heavyweights such as Agilent, Dell and ADI as if it didn't matter.
