QCOM GAVE THEM A 500 MILLION DOLLAR VENDOR FINANCING DEAL.. AFTER GLOBALSTAR DEFAULTED ON THEIR FIRST 14 MILLION DOLLAR LOAN RE-PAYMENT IN JANUARY 2000. Of course.. No one mentioned it until I called IJ and T. Thornley on the defaulted payment at the Shareholders Meeting last year!!! Which they then proceed in telling everyone about THE NEW 500 MILLION DOLLAR VENDOR FINANCING PACKAGE!! A Package that took every penny that was owed from Globalstar on the current A/R sheets, and all future invoices.. Directly to be reported as Revenues.. Don't believe me.. Go back and look at the revenues and profits generated in QWS in 2000. Of course a year later.. They wrote it all off.. But, if they hadn't made the VF deal.. QCOM would not have made it's numbers in several quarters in CY2000.. QCOM made this statement the day Globalstar announced that they were not going to pay QCOM their 50 million dollar payment, and told the bondholders to take a flying LEAP.. (Which of course I am a Bondholder)qualcomm.com ""The quality, service and reliability of the Globalstar system has been exceptional since its commercial launch in early 2000. We believe current and new product offerings support an expanding market for Globalstar service and we expect the system to continue to operate into the future," said Dr. Irwin M. Jacobs, chairman and CEO of QUALCOMM. "The introduction of higher speed data modules, now in development, should open further data applications and vertical markets for the Globalstar system." Well, we know they just stiffed us 50 million dollars.. But, because of all that revenue we have been booking over the last year. (Because of our 500 million dollar Vendor Financing Deal). We are going to continue development efforts for new products for Globalstar..!! If that is not a sign of support.. I don't know what is?? "IF YOU DON"T LIKE MY DISCUSSION ON IEE 802.11, THEN YOU DON'T WANT TO START ME ON A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE QCOM VENDOR FINANCING DEAL!!! TRUST ME!! PCSTEL
