Not a thing. Have at it. I just bought calls on HPOW last week when it broke out above 10. I like them because they might be an interesting play on stationary power, which is a more near-term use considering all the blackouts. Fuel cells in cars are several years away.

Yes, but we were in a bull market. Concepts don't fly as well in bear markets. Most fuel cell companies won't make profits for years, if at all. At least BLDP has big backers and lots of patents. I don't believe the energy crisis is going away anytime soon so these stocks could go crazy.

Energy and alternative energy is something I am focusing on very closely.

Trust me on that.

Have they worked around the platinum issue yet? Platinum isn't exactly cheap and I don't see any reason for it to be cheap again. I'm curious if anyone knows the trade-off in precious metal content when switching to fuel-cells. As far as I know you need platinum as a catalyst at low temperatures, and that will be expensive. But then you won't need platinum/palladium in a catalytic convertor right? I don't exactly know if there is a net gain or loss in precious metal content.

Why don't you tap into your vast knowledge and connections to find out for me. I'd appreciate that.
