Forget PDA's.... ya really want one of these !

sony.co.jp

Click "next" for description. Tranlation (sort of):

"Sony unwrapped its new "personal IT television," the Airboard, a 10.4" monitor that connects wirelessly to a base station, allowing users to surf the 'Net, watch TV and videos, or control audio-visual equipment from anywhere around the house. It has no keyboard, but uses an on-screen touchpad. The Airboard will allow multi-tasking and can show different content simultaneously (e.g., instant messaging in a window next to a playing video)."

Gotta get one !

"Actually there is competition showing up, especially in the form of the Cell Phone PDA's. Such as this one by Sprint."

Sorry, I own the Kyocera Smartphone (been a stockholder of the ADR for years) and while they do a terrific job of integrating the Palm OS and a phone, you still cannot get through any corporate firewall...so yes, you can access your home email, not your business...this is one of my key frustrations with the Kyocera phone and the only reason I still carry my Blackberry device.
