Now, you don't think Joseph was buried in the same place as Jacob who bought the plot?!! Or was it ABRAHAM who bought the plot?!! Most likely they both payed for the same plot of land because after Abe bought it and didn't maintain possession it would have reverted to a local occupant who worked the land. Rather than have a battle about it Jacob probably just paid for it again. I hope that helps you.
