Of course I am somewhat. Its not like this is a life & death topic like say the price of ATHM in a year. Let's look at the original statement that started this little fuss:

Why not ask one of your references why when the voltage applied rises linearly that at the same amp flow, temperature rises and does so differentially with the result that resistance rises exponentially. As a function of distance the heating becomes so critical that the wire melts

"Voltage applied" is of course the term we are discussing. If DC the concept is rather uncertain, if AC I'd say Ah's statement is pretty much correct.

Bottom line: Whatever.
