hi tc

re, "is your email program set to check for new mail every "xxx" amount of time? That might account for the outbound messages"

as i said, rules have been written for the repeat access applications, meaning, my email program has been performing on a given permission for more than a year. it no longer prompts me, in fact, it only had to ask once and i had a rule written to authorize it.

what i saw was just one outbound attempt...

"Application: 5s is attempting to access the internet"

and it stood out because i never saw it before.

hopefully i won't see it again, or i'll learn what it was.

thank you for your WAG.

:)
