Check out Maureen Dowd's column in today's NY Times. Maureen is a widely read, but almost totally apolitical columnist. But, she is fuming over the drill, drill, drill, energy boys. Bush is going to re-invigorate the greens in a manner Gore could never have hoped to do - Maureen is just a single example of that. The oceans are already starting to rise because of global warming, and many people are concerned. New technologies give us a way to reduce energy use, and still get more power. Geo-thermal heat pumps (which Bush has installed at his ranch, and Cheney has at the VP mansion) are just one example. geoexchange.org
