Dear SbH,

This is not necessarily bad, just different, but I can see that this is not helping the academic encouraged vision of progression in computing that allows all that data abstraction and object oriented stuff that was supposed to hide this.

Now you see there! Didn't I say that my "intuits" were incompatible with Math or what?<vbg>

The "open and obvious" use of this {The rest1-N} "prior art" bit would never have occurred to me. Not in 10 to the 6th years.<g>

Here I was assuming that this SOA stuff was the ultimate means of forcing the storage of all that geometry onto those dadburned CD-ROMs! <Ha Ho 8->

Nevertheless, ...I must pick yet another of your nits, and point out that the necessary badness with which I am compelled to paint these "directives" from INTC has precious little to do with academic encouragement.<vbg>

No indeed Sir. It is the very Crusade for either "goodness" or "badness" in these geometric formulations which fuels the hunt. Unless you E types are pandering for a FRAUDulent Unified Field, I figure there must be a "math" to describe the "good," the "bad," ...and yes, even the "ugly" bits... which inhabits this universe.

And when I find it, well... all I can say is that I encourage you all have your affairs in order.<Hoo Ha 8->
