Very well said. I wonder what would happen in the Middle East if the media were silenced? Won't happen, but fun to think about. With no international audience, things just may get done.

"" As we have seen in all previous wars, the Arab Israelis were very quiet!!! They are well warned and they stay home and behave! They don't want to live in Palestine, they want to live in ISrael! Syria will loose in a big way, you are correct. Off course Israel will make her calculation too, and will pay the price. 5,000 to 20,000 dead in case of major war with Syria and intervention in Baaka! I want to tell you something you may not know, soon after Antebe, IDF divided the world into Hostile, Neutral, and Friendly. There is a plan of limited or full military intervention in each of these nation that is marked as "hostile!" In Europe, for example, Greece, Spain and Portugal were considered hostile! Italy, Turky, UK, Holland, and Belgium are friendly and France was neutral! At the highest level of the IDF Staff College, these war games are being played regularly against all the would be hostile nations! In all these plans the cost in human life and political price tags are calculated on the regular bases and up-date! IDF is still a fined tuned machine despite all. The cost of war on one two or three fronts against the neighbors is well calcualted! What I am trying across to you is this, if there will be a war, then there will be peace negotiation and Israel will accept a peace only if convinent. If not the negotiation will go on for another 30 years and then we will have anther war! In politics you call this maintaining the status quo! Mathematically there is not solution for every problem. There are problems one can live with as long as convinient! This is one of those problems!
